Planxty est un groupe de musique irlandaise formé dans les années 70 avec Christy Moore (chant & guitare) Donal Lunny (bouzouki) Andy Irvine (chant, mandoline, mandole) et Liam O'Flynn (uilleann pipes) Ils ont eu énormément de succès avec leur mélange de musique traditionnelle irlandaise, chant et musique folk.
