Farewell to Yonkers musician Jack Coen
"The parish church of St. Barnabas in the Irish enclave of Woodlawn where the North Bronx meets Yonkers is no stranger to celebrating Masses of Christian Burial and seeing folks crowd the pews in great numbers.
Last Thursday another Irish immigrant would be buried from there whose contributions to his adopted home in America were recognized as unique and significant, and “a national treasure”
