The Irish Traditional Music Archive in Dublin is seeking applications for an Assistant Images Officer under the FÁS Work Placement Programme. The successful applicant will contribute to an ongoing project of making ITMA's image collection digitally available to users. Participants will gain experience in the cataloguing of still & moving images; digitising; image manipulation & video editing to prepare video & images for web-publication. The candidate will gain an overall experience of the range of services & processes at work in a multimedia archive, as well as reader service skills.

The placement is full-time (30 hours per week), runs for 9 months, and is offered through the FÁS Work Placement Programme.  For more information see here
