Paddy Keenan live in Athlone this Friday

This is a reminder that uilleann piper Paddy Keenan, accompanied by Eoghan Scott, will play the Passionfruit Theatre in Athlone this Friday 24 February 2012.

Generally recognised as one of the most influential musicians of his generation, Paddy's musical style has continued to mature in the intervening years since the break-up of The Bothy Band as he has pursued a solo career and performed at festivals throughout the world, as well as at various concerts, benefits and tionals (piping festivals)

The Passionfruit Theatre is an intimate theatre space in the centre of Athlone with seating for up to 55 people.

An entirely volunteer-run, non-profit organisation, they welcome touring theatre companies, and provide a performance space for local as well as national and international artists.
